Polynucleotide Injectables

Treatment showcase | Beauti Skin Clinic | Oval, Brixton London

What is Polynucleotide Injectables?

Polynucleotides are a new cosmetic treatment designed to rejuvenate your skin by stimulating its natural repair processes. They are made of purified fragments of DNA, often derived from salmon and don’t contain the genetic information of the salmon.

This innovative skin booster acts as a signal to your skin cells, unlike fillers that simply add volume. They stimulate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production, leading to firmer, more elastic skin. It is best for dehydrated skin as it attracts and binds water molecules, leaving your skin plumper and smoother.

Polynucleotides offer a natural-looking way to achieve younger, healthier skin by awakening your skin's natural renewal abilities. If you are new to the treatment, we recommend a course of 3 to start with initially, with a top-up every six months to maintain the effect. They are suitable for those looking for a long-term approach to skin rejuvenation.

If you are new to cosmetic injections, options in the market can be confusing. We recommend booking a consultation with our team to discuss which skin injectable treatment is right for you.

What should I expect after the treatment?

There is minimal downtime. You may notice mild redness and swelling around the injected skin areas immediately after the treatment. These are common and will typically subside within a few days. You won’t see the full result immediately; you will see a gradual improvement in your skin’s texture, hydration, and elasticity over 4-8 weeks.

What is the after care?

  • It is best to keep out of the sun for 7 days after the treatment.
  • For the next 24 hours, don’t use any powder or makeup.
  • For 72 hours, stay away from swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas.
  • For the next 24 hours, avoid intense exercise or conditions that can cause excessive sweating.
  • Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling.
  • Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.

Please speak to your therapist for more specific advice after your treatment if you have any concerns.

How much does it cost?

  • 1ml costs £250.
  • 2ml costs £300.
  • 4ml costs £500.
